Finding good gadgets on the road

Now it is the end of the year 2022. I used to review my remote work environment (yup, I did a lot of nomadic work even before the pandemic), once a year at the end of the year. That was a kind of tradition.

The last few years, I have not made any changes, partly because I have not traveled very far due to the Covid-19 crisis. But this year, for the first time in a while, I had to go on an overseas business trip, etc. Thus, I decided to revive the tradition.

Basic Concepts

Multi-displays: It may depend on your business, but if, like me, your main work is writing text and code (and browsing stupid webpages including Twitter while you work), you want to have a multi-display environment even when you are on the road.

Dual is the lowest. I want to use a triple or quad display if possible. A long time ago, it was a big deal just to bring a monitor overseas. However, these days, monitors themselves are lightweight, even with large screens and high image resolution.
